Refund Policy

Last updated July 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of The Cordial Invite. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Digital products, delivered immediately

Each purchase unlocks a digital wedding invitation that is delivered to you the moment it is published — there is no physical product. By publishing your invitation you ask us to begin providing the product straight away.

2. Payments & Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Because Paddle is the seller of record, refunds are issued through Paddle and are subject to Paddle's buyer terms as well as this policy.

3. When you can get a refund

Because invitations are digital and delivered immediately, fees are generally non-refundable once an invitation is published, except where a refund is required by law.

We will, however, consider refunds in good faith where something has genuinely gone wrong — for example, a technical fault that prevents your invitation from working and that we are unable to resolve. If you have not yet published, you have not been charged for that invitation.

4. Consumer withdrawal rights (EU / UK)

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, this right is lost once delivery begins with your consent. By publishing your invitation, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once it is published. This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty or not as described.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund or raise a billing issue, email us at hello@thecordialinvite.com with your order/transaction reference (shown on your Paddle receipt). We aim to respond promptly and will work with Paddle to resolve eligible requests.
